My 10Km Mother's Day

May 10, 2009- Mother's Day started early for me. Woken up at 5AM to get ready for a 10-km race- not exactly my ideal morning, but endured it just the same all for the love of husband's love for running.

The race was not such a big hit. It had it flaws... many in fact!

But as I said, running with hubby was the best thing! Running, whether in a race or jogging around the village, has become our bonding time. Sure, we hardly talk as we try to catch our breaths whenever we run. But that is where the magic lies I think-- the words not spoken but the understanding, the respect and the support for each other.

We will keep on running! Yeah!

PACMAN is the man! wHATTON earth hit Ricky?!

Let the numbers speak - finished in two rounds... knocked down 2x in the first round... that was Ricky Hatton's fate last Sunday. So, wHATTON earth hit him? Probably felt like the Earth itself.

I am no big fan of boxing but a really big fan of Manny Pacquiao. Mabuhay ang Pambansang Kamao!

I admire Pacquiao's dedication to, and passion for his craft. And these were clearly evident during last Sunday's match against Hatton. Pacquiao was simply a class act-- speed and precision combined.

Congratulations to the PacMan and to his entire Team Pacquiao! Good job!... or should that be Good jab!?
