Burdened?!

Feel like the whole world is on you?! Do not despair, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. This picture is a personal inspiration to me- to always find hope and light when the going gets tough.

The statue of Atlas in Rockefeller Center, directly across the street from St. Patrick Cathedral. I took this picture on my way out, from the aisle, of the cathedral.

The statue depicts Atlas as he carries the heavens upon his shoulders as punishment for defying Zeus. This art deco structure was designed and cast by Lee Lawrie and Rene Chambellan in 1936.
